Ms. Vazira Azimova is currently a Head of Department at Agency under the
Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan. She is dedicated, resourceful and goal
driven professional educator, interpreter with a solid commitment to the social
and academic growth and development of all spheres of translation and
interpreting. Professional with diverse experience and strong track record on
creating Public Education Curriculum. She is a Fulbright TEA program finalist by
US Embassy and IREX, bearer of “Outstanding of Public Education” medal,
owner of TESOL Certificate by International TESOL Association, Core –Trainer of
ESN program by American Councils, winner of national contest “The best
English teacher of the year 2015″ and studied TEFL and TESL at St.Mark & St.
John University, UK, finalist of National Teacher Prize 2020 by Uzbekistan
Teachers Association and Varkey Foundation.
In 2020 she was UBL program finalist sponsored by the United States
Department of State and was able to enhance her leadership skills at the
University of Texas in Austin and Kendra Scott University in Texas. She holds a
Bachelor of Roman-German Philology, and studying MBA at Higher School of
Business and Entrepreneurship. She is a chairman of Teachers Association of
Navoi region. A self-directed, action-oriented professional with over 18 year’s
experience in interpreting and community service.
